Sports and Recreation

There are limited sports fields in Division 5, but there are a number of clubs nearby that are well utilised by residents of Marsden, Berrinba, Crestmead and Waterford West.

• $200,000 contribution to the Waterford Demons clubhouse project

• $110,000 contribution to the Logan Brother’s gym and administration building project

• $70,000 for landscaping, deck and security system at Logan Artist Association

• $20,000 towards Sturdee Park Community Garden establishment

• $20,000 to activate Melissa Street oval with dual soccer fields as well as access to power and water services

• $50,000 contribution to joint project with Logan Souths to install field lights at Marsden SHS ovals to facilitate it’s use as a training facility
