City Wide Projects

There are numerous city wide projects, but there are a few in particular that I took a special interest in to ensure a great outcome for the residents of Division 5.

  • Logan Central Water play Area (Delivered January 2020)

    • $3.5 million enhacement to Logan Gardens Park to include water spots, dumping bucket, sprayers, change rooms and bathroom facilities.

  • Kingston Buttery Factory Renewal & Outdoor Stage (To be Delivered December 2020)

    • $15 million enhancement to the historic Kingston Butter Factory Precinct

    • Outdoor Stage area with a capacity of 5000 people, unique to our city

    • Refurbishment of Kingston Butter Factory to transform it into a living museum and display space for the many different communities in Logan to proudly share their history and passion

  • Waterford West Water Park Master Planning (Master planning delivered late 2019)

    • $500,000 master plan delivered and designed in 2019

    • $18 million dollar creation of a new water play park area that will include additional parking, cafe and amenities (Due for delivery in approximately 20 years)

    • I will advocate to other levels of Government and private business to attract investment to this project and have it deliver much sooner - we need this type of facility in Division 5 now!
