Sturdee Park

  • $1.8million park upgrade in Loganlea

  • First smart park in the city including free Wifi, phone charging stations and digital play equipment

  • State of the art security with low-light CCTV cameras and reactive path lighting

  • New toilets, BBQs, bubblers, gazebos and shade sails over the play areas

  • Something for all ages to enjoy with skate ramps, exercise equipment, 0-2 years play swings and equipment and a community garden.

Demeio Park

  • New toilets, BBQs, bubblers and gazebos

  • Secured the new educational Cycle Park through Tranurban’s legacy project

  • Free fishing events hosted at the park to remove pests (carp and talapia)

JJ Smith Park & Melissa Street Oval

  • New seating, play equipment and bubblers around the play area

  • Better landscaping and vegetation management to make Scrubby Creek more visible and accessible

  • Two new soccer fields at Melissa Street oval with activation for multicultural sporting events

  • CCTV Cameras and lighting for the pathways and the Bega Road tunnel

Tygum Park

  • Landscaping and bank stabilisation to improve water quality in Tygum Lagoon

  • New bubblers (including dog friendly bowls!)

  • Lighting over the basketball courts

  • Installation of CCTV cameras and additional lighting

Evergreen & Rhodes Park

  • New bubblers and exercise equipment

  • New adventure scooter and cycle path

  • New pathway and lighting linking Evergreen and Rhodes Park

Berrinba Wetlands

  • New bubblers for the walking tracks and Parkrun

  • New bins and improved lighting on pathways

Moxey Park

  • Solar lighting for basketball court

Dog off leash areas

  • New agility equipment, shade trees and solar lighting for Marsden Park (Third Ave)
